This is one of best Bible verses about beauty… “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27) Let me just go ahead a say it, “You ARE beautiful!”
God created you in His image. Just pause and reflect on that thought for a moment; The God of the entire universe loves you so much that he made you in a representation of Himself. This is not just in the superficial meaning of beauty, but most importantly, the inward appearance of beauty. The light shines from within, giving a glow that radiates to everyone around you.

God Created us in His Image
Our world has made the focus of what we look like on the outside the primary concern. God’s focus is on what we look like on the inside. But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” He wants someone who is drop dead gorgeous internally, the one whose heart longs for and seeks Him daily in all things.
Another one of the Bible verses about beauty is Proverbs 31. It is about a mother’s advice to her son in what to look for in a future wife. This woman is one who wants to grow in all areas of her life. She realizes that someday (hopefully in the distant future) gravity will ultimately take hold of her outward appearance. And all she will have left to share are her good works and deeds. The role she plays as a wife, mother, and daughter of the Heavenly Father is what matters. This may also apply to single women as well. We should grow in righteousness in all facets of life and doing God’s will. As it says, “charm can deceive and beauty will vanish, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
In saying all this, it doesn’t mean that the outward appearance doesn’t have a magnificent quality as well, since our whole body is “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Taking care of your external appearance through a healthy and holistic lifestyle has great benefit as well. Your body is the temple of the Lord, and taking care of it is important.
May these Bible verses about beauty help you to see a better you when you look in the mirror; that you reflect a spiritual beauty to all those you cross paths with. May God Bless you abundantly.
