“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence.”

- “All things that pertain to life and godliness” — Nothing is missing. Whether physical endurance, mental resilience, or spiritual strength, His provision covers it.
- “Through the knowledge of Him” — Our thriving is tied directly to knowing Jesus personally, not just knowing about Him. Relationship unlocks resources.
Applied to biblical health, this is an empowering promise. In a world where people feel overwhelmed by lack, of health, strength, or direction, Peter reminds us that in Christ, we are not lacking. God has already equipped us with what we need to flourish, to make wise choices, and to live in godliness, even in a toxic, broken world.
This means we don’t thrive by scrambling for every new solution the world offers. We thrive by going deeper into knowing Christ, who is the Source of every good gift we need for life and holiness.
So take courage: you are not missing what you need to thrive. His divine power has already supplied it in Christ.
Prayer: Lord, thank You that by Your divine power, I already have everything I need for life and godliness. Help me walk in what You have provided, trusting that nothing is lacking. Teach me to thrive by knowing You more deeply and drawing on Your strength each day. Amen.
