Peter boldly declares the power and exclusivity of Jesus before the same leaders who had condemned Him. The miracle of healing the lame man was not about Peter’s power, but about the name of Jesus Christ.
Notice what stands out here:
Healing is by Jesus’ name. The man stands well not because of human skill, but because of the authority of Christ. Thriving flows from Him alone.
The rejected stone became the cornerstone. What the world dismissed, God exalted. Thriving often looks like trusting what the world despises.
Salvation in no one else. This is absolute clarity. Health, healing, salvation, and eternal life are found only in Jesus.
Applied to biblical health, this is a crucial reminder. The world offers countless “names” promising salvation—diets, fads, supplements, therapies. But true restoration, in body and soul, is found only in Jesus Christ. Everything else is secondary.
Thriving in troubled times means standing firm on the cornerstone—Jesus Himself. No other foundation can sustain health, wholeness, or salvation. His name alone has the authority to save, to heal, and to make whole.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You that there is no other name but Yours that saves and heals. Teach me to rest on You as my cornerstone and to build my life, health, and hope on Your unshakable name. Amen.
